METTA QUINTET, the official resident ensemble of JazzReach, brings together some of today’s most dynamic and innovative jazz artists. Known for their adventurous performances and commitment to education, the quintet combines bold original works with fresh takes on rare jazz gems, heard on acclaimed albums like Going to Meet the Man, Subway Songs, and Big Drum, Small World.

As the resident ensemble of the nationally recognized JazzReach, they have introduced nearly one million students across 200 communities to the power of jazz through concerts, residencies, and workshops. Founded in 1994, JazzReach continues to inspire audiences of all ages with creative performances and a deep dedication to America’s jazz tradition.
